Credits & Billing

Dakota's self-serve platform uses a prepaid credit system. You purchase credits upfront, and they're drawn down as you process transactions at a rate of 25 basis points (0.25%) per transaction (orchestration fee).
There are no setup fees. No lock-in. Credits don't expire.
Credit Tiers
Credits can be purchased at any time, as many times as you need. The following tiers are available in the dashboard:

Your Credit Dashboard
Your credit dashboard displays three key figures at a glance:
Current balance — the dollar value of credits remaining in your account
Remaining capacity — the total transfer volume you can process before your credits run out
Transfer rate — your per-transaction rate, set to 25 bps by default
Credit History
The credit history log provides a complete record of all credit activity on your account, including purchases, deductions, and refunds. You can use this for reconciliation and accounting purposes.
