Below is the complete list of documents and information you should come prepared with to onboard your individual customers through Dakota. In some cases, not all documentation listed below will be required.

Full legal name, date of birth, and nationality(ies)
Social Security Number (SSN) — US persons only
Home address (no PO Boxes)

Source(s) of wealth (for example: salary, savings, investments)
Purpose(s) of the account (for example: investing, sending or receiving payments)
Required Documents
One identity document:
passport, driver’s license (front and back), or residence permit (front and back)(Customizable) One proof of address document dated within the last 90 days:
official document, bank statement, or utility bill
Final Step
Completion of required attestations:
accuracy of information, Terms of Service, Funds Transfer Agreement, and Privacy Policy

You will be asked to provide the following details during the application process:
Full legal name
First name, optional middle name, and last name.Date of birth
You must be at least 18 years old to apply.Nationalities
Select all countries where you hold citizenship.SSN
Required for US persons only. Must follow the format: XXX-XX-XXXX.Email address
A valid personal email address.Home address
Full residential address, including street, city, region, postal code, and country.
PO Boxes are not permitted.Employment status

You will need to upload the following documents. Ensure all documents are clear, valid, and legible.

Residence permit (front and back required)
All identity documents must include an ID number and issuing country. Documents from prohibited jurisdictions are not accepted.
Proof of Address (choose one)
Must be dated within the last 90 days:
