API Keys

API Keys can only be generated in the dashboard.

Generate an API Key

  1. Log in to your Sandbox account at platform.sandbox.dakota.xyz

    1. For Production: platform.dakota.xyz

  2. Click API Keys in the left-side menu of the dashboard.

  3. Click Create API Key.

  4. Your new API key will be generated, and your unique secret code will be displayed.

    • Be sure to store this secret securely, as it will not be shown again.

Treat your API key like a password. Do not share it publicly or embed it in client-side code. If your key is ever compromised, revoke it immediately and create a new one.
